Compose Your Own TunesCompose Your Own Tunes
Peter writes: "In my experience, there are two groups of would-be composers - Those who already feel that they may have a tune in their head, but don't know how to construct and to shape that tune .... and those who have never even thought of composing their own music, but would dearly love to - if only they knew how to start.

In this book I shall be showing you a few 'Tricks Of The Trade' to get you started, some basic musical skills and facts to enable you to extend your ideas into fully-fledged compositions, and a few of my special 'pro' tips - to enable you to introduce, embellish and present your original music. It is not difficult (when you know how!) and it is lots of fun .... So why not join me, as I show you How To Compose Your Own Tunes."

This is full of inspiration and practical help. Peter talks about how to start, how to modulate (change key), phrasing and balancing (to get the right number of beats and bars) adding chords to the melody and so on. A good one for any budding composer.

This 20 page book is clearly written in understandable English. The music is in easy to read, clear, good-sized print. It really will help you to 'play better'!
